I'm trying to gather up the best websites/apps investors use for finding their deals, buying and/or selling.I have my go-to list that I use, but just curious of others, always trying to broaden my horizons!

This would be my first foray into non-residential investment and I'm anxious that I may be trying to swallow too big a fish. 

Basically, unless it's your own home, you CANNOT offer owner financing unless you are a Loan Originator or you hire one to do the paper work (that is much harder to do than expected).Many investors (including one in my local REIA) don't wish to bother with this, assuming that HUD as bigger fish to catch.

From what I can tell, most of these scammers are either fishing for good email addresses (once you reply to them, they've got your real email address) or they're part of the fake cashier check scam (where you get a cashiers check for more than the deposit, refund the difference, then discover that the original check was bad).

Jayson Aycock - I think the problem here is that you believe you've got a fish on your line that is bigger than you are experience dealing with.

I was just in Asheville fly fishing a few months ago!

@Rena Barron if your not tearing out dry wall to get to repairs or fishing new wires through and if your literally changing outlets, that is not a big deal at all.
