There are others that are a bit quicker in turn-around. 

The rules are pretty complicated and the only people who really know all the terms and rules thoroughly are the Rent Levelling Board.Caveating that I’m not an attorney so go seek your own advice but I clarified a few things at a recent rent levelling hearing (which are open to the public and you can find the schedules with a simple Google).

These cases are trickery at best.

You are in a great place to learn based on the successes and failures that many have had.  

It is just to far away for me but if the numbers are good in Milwaukee I would have my brother do that. 

For anyone that is looking at developing or purchasing an STR in Packwood, WA I would take a peek at the numbers that are on the rental sites and the amount of bookings. 

Some don't care at all as many are in that position.

Then connect with some hard money lenders (you can find some here on BP as well as some who are typing this right now) and connect with them to understand their product type, what they like to lend on and requirements.Hard money broker is all numbers game of making relationships and helping those that are looking for financing, it starts out slow but if you get with a few good borrowers and lenders it can be pretty decent money to be made.As an example we paid six figures last year to HM brokers. 

There are also other websites that have a Cost of Living index or other comparison tools.
