We know that we can easily and quickly rent the homes out for $600-$700/month, but instead of renting to a tenant, we have an idea that might help out the right person (who does not have start up cash) to get started in real estate investing and I'm looking for advice on whether or not to go forward with it.

I am not eligible for a conventional loan as I am working for a start-up company and will not be approved for a mortgage.My thinking is to seek owner financing,negotiate mortgage directly with owner, and put up to 50k down for first property.Am I going in the right direction seeking financing directly with owner or do I have any other options in my current position?

@Russell Brazil I agree that the market couldn't likely support many different cloud brokerages, I'm sure like any startup they barely stayed alive with the first few hundred agents.
