My family might be in a situation in the next 9 months where we'll be moving from WA to the Prattville/Montgomery, AL area as a result of a military move.

With the military and corporate jobs I've gotten around a lot so here's my take on NJ. 

There's a healthy group of A/D military folks investing in the area. 

We're on track to have a few things happen in 18 months. 1) credit scores around 700 2) 60-90k savings 3) move to Norfolk, VA area (I'm active duty military).

Hello, I am new to BP and have been reading posts for the past month.I am currently active duty military and set to be relocated in the spring.

I have spent my life in the military, and then college, and then traveling for work and for pleasure, and soaking up all that there is to see and learn and do in the world... essentially doing anything but learning to build wealth, and setting down roots somewhere.
