I know the cabin should have a lodge feel at minimum, however I'm not sure if a hybrid look with both sheetrock and tongue & groove wood would be better than 100% "wood out" tongue & groove pine look. 

The demand for non-hotel lodging is here and here to stay with a vengeance.

In the Moore case, however, the mobile homes did not qualify as section 38 property because they were used primarily to furnish lodging.

Go to DBPR and apply for a lodging license.  

Or what are my options 😅  I will be attending my first BPCon.For reasonable lodging look for high bed count STRs and look for attendees to roommate with.  

Hopefully that won’t qualify as lodging.

I have already spoken to a bank to get mortgage pre-approval advice and will lodge this in Aug.2.

There are many options to be found but watch for locations that are adverse to off-base lodging.

The bigger dome, which the family calls “The Lodge,” measures 32 feet in diameter, has pine floors, and is anchored by a freestanding black and yellow Malm fireplace.

All I really need is a place to sleep so if I can save on lodging I have more money do enjoy the city.
