I sent out my contractor to get everything he stated and much more fixed.Reached out to him again after his grievances had been met, now he's saying he would pay me weekly based on what he has and that he would pay the rest of the rent with this girlfriend's tax returns .So bear in mind that his lease expires in September, here are my thought: do i start eviction now, i dont think the courts are accepting eviction cases but i may be wrong, also there's also an eviction freeze in New York till July.Or wait till September to terminate the contract and go after him with the court.Thank You for your response

Once the pandemic is over the requirements will change backThis is actually no different than foreclosure/eviction freezes, STR temporary bans, etc.Things are not nearly back to “normal”.

A lot of investors are still buying, but some of the private and hard money lenders are freezing, which is going to mean less funding for investors.

We've searched for a year and while the  numbers are good, these properties will be mortgaged and with rent freezes and eviction moratoriums this is concerning for fledgling investors.  

We are seeing major tech companies announcing hiring freezes and layoffs.

So doesn't sound like appealing freezes the value regardless of whether the appeal is successful or not. 

Large Corporations are foretelling a coming storm......you don't have to look too hard to see hiring freezes and announcement of large layoffs.  

I just look at the bright side and various lessons learned: 1) make sure your local person looks for unfinished portions of the house and doesn't leave those out, 2) if you buy a vacant house, make sure the water is turned off, especially in areas that get very cold, since the pipes can freeze and burst, and 3) at least it's another one for the resume/track record of deals closed!

We have no problems finding renters here and our Winters are freezing here.
