I am an active duty Army Pilot attending flight school in Enterprise, ALJust wanted to introduce myself to everyone, and allow this post to bring together other military investors to share their stories as well!

In Ohio, it is illegal to pay anyone that is not a licensed agent a finder's fee, but I am sure there are some enterprising attorneys that know how to classify various fees so as not to break any laws.If you are trying to get into your own deals, I would start with what you know, trying to raise money and grow that. 

Any market that is not dependant on a single enterprise (Midwest, KC) OR a market that is dependant on travel/tourism (Las Vegas) post fall out.

We have several enterprises going on with the farm from selling our pasture raised meats to having a few tour opportunities on the farm each year.

I've seen discussion claiming that borrower dependent notes are not securities because they fail the common enterprise element. 

I'm familiar with large enterprise systems like Oracle Hyperion and more startupy tools like Alteryx & Tableau so I have a good sense of how practical and easy to use different business process automation tools are. 

Start the draft yourselves: what each person is contributing to the enterprise, whether money or responsibilities, and how the income comes and goes.

Active enterprises need to be run in an entity outside the plan.
