We now have to coordinate with new owners to make sure they get those installed (no bullnose for the stairs, doorways, etc).Its a bamboo wood product, grey tone, looks awesome.

Fireplaces, doorways, transitions, stairs, etc.Garage door openers, door hinges and knobs, replacing a ceiling fan (or upgrading from a basic light) are also all good candidates.

Sounds like a rubber ramp might be best, although the ramps I'm seeing while browsing seem only to be wide enough for a doorway, so I'd have to get 2 or 3.

I then ended up moving to portland and found my "DREAM JOB" at a high end hot rod and custom fabrication shop. now that I'm finaly where I wanted to be in life ive found its not really where I want to be... so i figued its time to start looking for a new passion and i have always had a love for houses and their design or the landscape. so i figured i would start looking for a way to get my foot in the door way and the best way in for me has always been geting educated in all areas first and then take what i know and find the direction that i want to go!

@Scott Ellis, code states all bedrooms SHALL have one emergency escape and rescue opening, the rest of the living space can be serviced by a doorway leading out. also depending on how far down you are you will need a window well that is 9 sq' clear opening and steps or a ladder to get out. you can not just open a door way and say it services the rest of the area, because a door can easily be installed again, and i wouldn't want that tragedy on my head if god forbid something happened and someone got trapped down there. i wouldn't even try an circumvent that one - put the egress window in there. as far as the town considering it a bedroom, i would check with the building department, if its not, then the house is down one bedroom and a bargaining chip for you, you buy it, make it right, and you just increased the value of the property to where it should have been.
