Not all agents know how to get the best possible rate on an NFIP quote so you may try getting a quote from another agent who is more experienced with NFIP.Last ditch - If you pay cash (no financing or plans to re-fi in the future) then you can own the property without flood insurance - aka self insure.

If you are also working with their associates they have ways to ditch you.To be honest give them a schedule 3 month, 6 months and if you work well they will get paid.
