It's gotta have a strong market competitive advantage, which is to say no goofy layouts or weird configurations. 

Hi everyone,I've seen a few topics about this already but not so recent,I am in the process to acquire a land with Multifamily Zoning configuration,I am looking for builders that does this in Florida,I could try to search for a land close to a good builders if I feel this worth it,My idea would be to build new units 2/3 or 4 units all on the same level (the number will depend on size lot and what I am allowed to build on it) I am looking for the most basic building, this will be starter price in terms of rent and eventually in distressed area,If you have real contacts of builder I would be interested,All the best

Also, impact considerations of reconfiguring unit compilation; is it feasible to reconfigure into a different unit configuration, at what costs? 

@Christian Thompson,In my town, anything over 4 unit, regardless of how they are configured will go via a commercial loan. 

Units mostly on the smaller side for their configuration,  but in that location not a big issue given likely renter  demographics.   

@Derek dill - Can you configure FB to autorespond that way or are you saying that's just something you manually respond with?

The one I use right now is a little complicated, I'm just wasting my time configuring and setting it up.

As I mentioned before, it is probable that your property would be considered legal, non-conforming since it's present configuration likely predated the current zoning class.
