One thing you could do is use S mortar or something similar with a brushed texture to go over the top of the faux brick if it's structurally sound, and then get artistic with a sponge with a row on the bottom (all along the front, under the windows, etc) , to give those bricks a nice natural tone/look (tans, greys, with multiple passes with dabbing with a sponge) might give you a really nice look.This is all if the brick is structurally sound, of course.

I was working on a flip last summer, we sprayed the house in a couple of hours, the next door neighbor was using a brush, took him a couple of months.

I fill any large imperfections in the face of the panels with quickset mud.Now that you've doubled back and really tightened everything(trims and all) with caulking it's on to paint.For a really high quality job you will want to spray/roll and back brush two coats of oil primer.

So far have replaced drop ceilings and wood paneling with smooth painted surfaces, replaced brass fixtures and hardware with brushed nickel, installed high efficiency toilets and shower heads.

Since I don't own a texture spray gun anymore I just do a "random" drag on mine, no 2 square yards look alike.I just take a heavy texture brush and dip it into slightly thinned joint compound and "splook" it onto the ceiling.

It even covered up an edge where the formica had chipped off and all that was remaining was the wood.The kit includes (in order of use): Cleaner, Cleaning brush, adhesive bottom color coat, flake spreader (looks like a mini lawn seed spreader), flakes, sanding block, and two part epoxy protective top coat.

(check comps, expectations for area first, i'm up north snow area....)bathrooms, get rid of anything gold. chrome/brushed steel/nickel... maybe modern but you want serene/calm/spa. choose paint color wise.kitchen: there seems to be a mix of black can painted plastic and metal pulls. how are the cabinets?
