@Chris KendrickThere are 40 year, fully amortized, options out there that allow for decent cash flow because of the length of the amortization and they rival 40 year interest only loans.

We were going to rent for a year or two before we buy our forever home in Shaker (yes, I know taxes are high but we love it there and all our friends are there, so a bitter sweet cost to swallow).

Boise is pretty expensive now, and there are some resort towns that rival the most expensive markets in the US.

I’m a little bitter that it ended this way.

Ignoring the geographical dilemma, if you’re job is to manage and their job is to finance and find more deals, and all rooms are empty and you see them sitting on the computer or away at work and you’re all alone to do this and become bitter because you’re comparing momentary circumstances, it will kill the partnership.

Great career choice if you want to lose all faith in humanity and generally become an overall bitter, cynical person.

@Melanie Stephens Upon reading your topic and reflecting back on deals (plural) that I had in my hands but let it go due to bad judgment or miscalculations, it became too overwhelming for me and suddenly I started to have feelings of disappointment, upset, and bitterness ... so I immediately had to stop thinking about those lost deals and go out for a run!
