Not sure about cons because this is a flip, but I do wanna fix it right and pass the static test for foundation warranty.  

The real test comes when the unexpected happens: market shifts, economic downturns, or unforeseen challenges.

It is usually done at the same time, but will involve asbestos testing which can get expensive.Big question is - why not just leave well enough alone?

I've been a licensed real estate broker in the past, have taken the appraisal courses, but didn't take the test, and now a licensed contractor and plumber, and soon to be electrician and hvac.

If nobody goes along, then the law is essentially dead in the water.I imagine there could be multiple cities interested in implementing this, but there needs to be a couple municipalities who are the first to do so and test it out for everybody else.  

If the toilets don't pass the ADA test, I would definitely go that route. 

But the simplest test is going to be to turn on the water and see where it starts gushing.

There are a lot of options out there and my only suggestion is that you take several for a test-drive to see which one works best for your operation.
