It was hard to tell before because everything was so ugly that I didn't notice (windows where installed repeatedly over each other with 50+ year old worn trim).My conundrum is that I am trying to add trim around the windows, and can't think of a way to hide the above problem.

We both realize that once the transaction is over, we shouldn't have to deal with the listing agent/Seller anymore but we're also afraid of whatever else they might be hiding.

They hope you only catch 3 out of 10 things they are hiding etc. and will still extract more money out of you on the sale.This is why if it's a listed property working with a commercial broker who looks over these things everyday is worth it especially if the seller is paying for it.
