Noise complaints? 

Things like showing common courtesy to roommates, doing your dishes, keeping noise down at certain hours, keeping exterior doors locked at all times, those kinds of things. 

Another option may be to offer your contractor some equity in the deal to help keep costs in check.Keep grinding and stay flexible, you'll find something that will work for you.

If the slab is not level you will want to glue it down because it will move a bunch and make noises while walking.

I (also read "We" throughout this agreement) understand that if my pet: a. causes noise, odors, and/or damage; and/or b. causes another tenant or the owner to have an allergic reaction or phobia; and/or c. harms or acts aggressively or could be dangerous toward another tenant, contractor, neighbor, or the owner; d. causes a written complaint to be received from a neighbor, other tenant, or any other person or organization, then my pet is to be immediately removed from the premises, upon written notice from the landlord/agent, never to return (neither to live nor to visit).

Everything else is just emotion or noise

In a Strata apartment or condo, I will also ask and if there have been any complaints regarding the tenants (noise/smoking etc. )Replies to the applicant is.. your application was approved/not approved.

We have a solution that we developed in Poland that offers control of access (smart lock), monitoring events, sensors for smoking, and party (sustained noise) detection.
