The only downside I see is that multiple units will mean more reservations to manage, so it'll be a little more day-to-day work for you on the email front, managing cleaners, etc.

Another thing I will be doing is following up after they check in asking them to rate not only their experience but the cleanliness of the room (keep cleaners held accountable) and offer a small incentive for them to make another reservation immediately.

Even on properties where I originally set everything up in person there are times where the device loses sync and needs to be re-connected from within the account, or times where I add a new smart device later on.It is a huge PITA honestly because it's usually a handyman or cleaner that has never used the app and I have to walk them through the steps without being able to see their screen, but it's the only way I've found for doing it.

Realistically, you'll need someone who is consistently able to visit the property to inspect after check outs, coordinate cleaners and other vendors, etc.
