Sure some great deals on homes were in that time period and many have gone up 2-300% but that's child's play compared to what the market did.

In the last year my wife KateLynn and I have purchased a fully rented duplex and a foreclosure that I was going to personally rehab to be our first home as we were expecting our first child.

My family has been here since the 1920's and my Grandmother owned owned a house in the 48238 Zip code where I played as a child.  

Now, here's my thoughts for the immediately future, and at least four months though......With Congress giving $1,200 per person, $2,400 per family, plus $500 per child, plus an extra $600 per week in unemployment benefits for four months, these tenants shouldn't be reaching out to their landlord until at least August, except to ask for April rent to be paid in full as soon as that gov't check comes.

I have a question regarding the Fair Housing Act's Familial Status.The intent is to prevent anyone from refusing to rent to or give preferences to people based on their family status...single vs married, with or without children etc...Familial status covers:families with children under the age of 18,pregnant persons, andany person in the process of securing legal custody of a minor child (including adoptive or foster parents).persons with written permission of the parent or legal guardianWhere do roommates factor into all these?

S8 has nothing to do with these matters and I would only involve them as a courtesy to let them know what the tenant's done re: damages and child sleeping in the basement because it will disqualify them for the program.
