The specific area that this property is in is one block from the downtown area where it's up and coming (i.e vacant lots undergoing ground up construction for 'luxury' condominiums).

The property was in the New York area, the investor was all but bankrupt at the time to boot so he couldn't really buy it anyway, but still he obsessed and everyone bet against him after finally giving up on trying to stop him.That investor was Donald Trump, and that deal, the impossible sure looser deal, is what brought him from the ashes, wrote books, made him famous, and launched the multi billion brand Trump.I would say the most dangerous thing in this world is a psychic pessimist; once computers in the home was impossible and now we carry them in our pockets, history is made by those who do the impossible, even in real estate. 

Lump that in with NASA starting to pick back up and private companies like SpaceX conducting launches out of Cape Canaveral, locals are getting excited about the future of our area.Now if we can keep getting lucky about avoiding hurricanes and if we can keep other Florida cities from stealing our spring training team I would highly recommend living here!

Good point Amit, if Joanna's question is regarding her condo conversation, then no rent control.Some Units Have Limited Rent Control Coverage Single Family Homes/Condos—You do not have full rent control protection if you live in a single family home (note that a single family home with an illegal in-law unit counts as a 2 unit building) or a condominium and you (and your roommates) moved in on or after January 1, 1996.

We launched on March 3rd with properties in Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa and will have properties available in Atlanta and Northern California in the first week of May and plan on being in all of the biggest single family investment markets in short order.
