I am considering having glass block windows installed (after removing the rotted double hung windows) and finishing the tub surround with Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) panels over green sheetrock.Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated!!

One of those that one block is very nice and the next street over is so so.The house has been vacant for a while and now I am taking over and need to do some rehab.

Here we are using higher end finishes and adding items such as light tubes, electronic apartment monitoring {software my other company is developing} and door locks (tenants can open the door w/ their phone).In this area we are in the middle/lower end of the buildings - there are a lot of furnished, executive flats here which are rented to government ministers as we are 2-blocks from the legislature - but we are specifically positioning our building for the younger generation (the assistants to the ministers living in the upper-end, furnished apartments).

Full time residents in residential areas do not like to have a vacation house on their block and they have the law do something about it.

I hate it, I like the forum topics the way they were, and get rid of those blue verticle bands on each side, they block out my cursur.

There is a street I know of that DOES have a stream under it and many of the homes on one side of the street spanning several blocks have water problems in heavy rains.Somehow and for some reason, someone called it Lakewood Avenue...go figure.
