They need to compliment your skills and attributes, have integrity, share your goals and motivation, and in your case, be willing to risk their money for the investment. 

We lay out a very simple framework, are in the business buying and running apartments, run a vertically integrated company and share our successes and failures with our community.  

I'm a 24/7/365 "active" investor and I own a vertically integrated company of 70+ employees who manage our portfolio and others' as well. 

Factors such as customer service, knowledge, accessibility, experience, and processing speeds will be integral to ensuring that the investments you have chosen to self-direct are facilitated efficiently.

As for the agent, the first thing that jumps to mind is integrity...

But, you folks on this board have been no less than integral in helping slingshot my business this year.  

My suggestion would be to provide quality housing from a landlord with integrity (That's you) and better your community by not being a shady landlord. 

I know quite a few investors on BofA who find their rates competitive and free integration with Quickbooks as a huge benefit.

If you wanted to have some sort of integrated service, you would need a licensed contractor around to perform the work (at least here in Nevada).

Integrity and honesty- anything less stinks to the high heavens.
