The city is hostile to landlords and real estate development and the trend is just getting started.  

For the house I would be living in, I'm thinking about buying a 3 to 4 bedroom house in a trendy neighborhood and house hacking by renting out rooms to cover my mortgage.

There aren't a lot of searches for investor phrases anyway.

In the letters will be the typical phrasing like, "I am interested in buying your house..."

"House hacking" seems to be a buzz phrase for various forms of investing that involve you living in an investment house.

There's an agent here who {over} uses the phrase "awaiting your decorating touches", which translates into "the shag carpet may be gone, but the appliances are still harvest gold and nothing else has been touched since 1978".
