If Dad won't stick his neck out for his kid and her husband, absolutely no reason for a landlord to take a risk.When you find yourself working harder than the tenants to get them qualified that is a sure sign to back off and re-read your rental criteria.

I want my tenants to change their own bulbs if they can be reached and this sounds reasonable.I also want to make sure my places are well lit (read: hazard free) and I don't want to encourage them to do any work that could lead to an injury.

I have never been told of this issue and have a lease that says the Tenants refused Rental coverage and are responsible for any injuries or health.I have offered her to move out and return all her deposits with no penalties.

Apart from it being a serious bio-hazard it could also be the cause of injuries should someone slip on it.Assuming the driveway is actually legally your property (not the city's or whoever) then, also, the tenant damaged your property.

In my neck of the woods the Marshall's Service handles all the notices for dispossessories (our version of evictions), including the first notice that the landlord has filed against the tenant for some reason; either failure to pay rent (the most common) or a breach of the lease.Each of the servings of notices are online under Marshall's Services, both under the applicants name and the person filing against them.

We're not solely financially independent yet, so the thought of continuing to pay for our property out pocket does not phase us nearly as much as the treat of a multimillion dollar lawsuit stemming from a terrible personal injury.Maybe I've seen too many personal injury attorney tv ads?
