Yes, sometimes you can make an offer at 50% of the list price and they'll take it other times you can make an offer at 95% of list price and they'll reject it.

Worse case scenario, I would rather have 10 offers I can reject that do not meet the desired net vs having a ridiculously high list price and no activity on the property.Best of Luck!

He invited my room-mate to his house for drinks, got him drunk and tried to kiss him and room-mate subsequently rejected him (there is a 40 year age difference).I have now been served a 3 day notice and I don't understand the legal situation.

I did that once, the bank rejected it, and after 9 months on the market, they accepted a lower offer than what I initially made, so even if they reject it, keep it on your radar.

In my experience Zillow and Trulia tend to have the highest standards in terms of accepting/rejecting a listing; They tend to reject a listing if another real estate agent has beaten you to it before (That's how they avoid multiple listings for the same address).
