There is conflicting wording in the various areas here, but you have it from the big guy himself, right there, they retain NO ownership interest in articles. But, there is, in my opinion, a more basic flaw in their article guidelines...May not contain any links or images within the body of the article.Articles on the web build upon other articles and content on the web, without being able to cite sources, with links, it is impossible to verify the content in an article or even review the sources the author relies upon.

can someone please explain this 50% rule to me?

Assuming 50% OE, and hitting the $100 per door cash flow (which everyone should use as a minimum in my opinion), may not be a good investment as your due diligence may uncover that the area is in a large downturn resulting in reduced rents over time, higher expenses, less tenants to choose from a declining population, no upside potentials, etc. etc. etc.

Is it possible WAMU will lower my principal?
22 October 2008 | 31 replies
With a refi, in Florida, they are likely going to seek a deficiency judgment unless you get it negotiated out as part of the short sale. if you can get them to write it off instead of seeking a deficiency you will likely see a 1099 for the write off amount.I think your central question is flawed in asking if they would just do a write down of the principal and let you keep the home.
