I used to work for a smaller custom home theater/low voltage installation company that charged considerably lower rates and actually used the same monitoring companies that the larger alarm companies use.

With a second luxury theater taking over the old Cinemark theater, huge amounts of apartments going in and a vacant building with potential to be a huge commerce center (Bourbon Square), I believe the area is destined to have a huge revitalization. 

Where we are in Gatlinburg, "theater rooms" are very popular in the cabins so it's nothing unusual.

Walking distance from restaurants, movie theater and DMV.

Or packed football games, movie theaters?

I have worked in that community for about 5 years through a theater program Casa 0101.

Once the new downtown theater was built, they virtually had cops standing on every corner protecting it, but that didn't work either. 

when the art/theater people start moving in, then something is going on.

It is the slow and steady play, but these are the families with college buildings and theaters named after them now.
