Yes- If the ROI is the same in 2 areas, then that's when I start to look at other factors in investing there- the potential growth of that area, landlord friendliness, which sports team I like, etc. 

( sports or dislike sports )My suggestion would be to invest local or midwest communities for buy hold investments.( research, take your time, and take action )

@Michael Core  I too am from Cleveland Ohio and have been a cursed Cleveland sports fan since I discovered the Browns in 1980.

What do you see to prices in and around pro sports arenas as teams move into or out of a market.  

Sandy Koulfax, Don Drysdale  Harmon Killabrew   Hank Aaron.. am I dating myself or do you even know who these guys are  LOLWe have had a nice run in our sports teams..

Some of my non real estate friends don't like sports either. 

That is why there are so many shared homes.1 hour away from full weekends of sport, dentist,  friends is like moving to another state and the gas costs don't help. 

My goal is to transfer all of the principles and disciplines that I acquired from these different sports along with my military experiences to the realm of REI.  

I am currently in school pursuing an undergraduate degree in Sports Management.
