Also---you need to make sure whoever did the rehab did it correctly (no point in paying a premium price is the work isn't done correctly)...lastly if you pay for a turnkey property...how do you know the tenant is paying a market rent and is a good tenant (credit score wise, payment history wise) etc?

If their credit history is sufficiently long to generate a reasonable score for them then the credit score tells you the answer!

I think you could make a case that they are at times but at the end of the day the distressed home sellers have not been good stewards of their properties and therefore sell at a discountI lived in Mexico doing missionary work for a while so I learned Spanish and the culture.They hate debt and so never develop credit scores.
