The only issue is that I would be stacking a lot of equity in a multi family and I need to wait to retrieve it back when the financing options are better.That sounds amazing !

As a courtesy, presuming you are able to be in contact with the tenant (email, voicemail, text, etc) I would reach out to them and advise what you find out and presuming it is 'the side of the road' I would suggest that they come retrieve what they want as the rest will get picked over by drive by scavengers, etc.What you ABSOLUTELY CAN'T do is let the tenant back into the unit (ie to move their stuff out, or whatever).
