As a courtesy, presuming you are able to be in contact with the tenant (email, voicemail, text, etc) I would reach out to them and advise what you find out and presuming it is 'the side of the road' I would suggest that they come retrieve what they want as the rest will get picked over by drive by scavengers, etc.What you ABSOLUTELY CAN'T do is let the tenant back into the unit (ie to move their stuff out, or whatever).
