The more this deal progressed I learned there were three other siblings, their spouses and other relatives all with their hand in the cookie jar on this deal and they wanted it closed ASAP.

So stealing change from the tip jar is ok too cause hey....who's going to waste their time going to court over some change right??

The local hardware store added the amount of die needed for a quart as opposed to a gallon. 

Maybe you choose to put it in a "no repair" jar and it goes towards a new property or something else.

As I am about to go throw it away, there is $20 and some change in there with a note that says, "lol nice tip jar." 

The market can only go so high, seems to me it's "cooling" off a bit, but perhaps it's more like leveling out, which is certainly preferable to a jarring correction. 

In other words, rents do not tend to drop substantially in economic downturns.There is no doubt, that signing a commitment to a lender for hundreds of thousands is psychologically jarring for any financially responsible person.  

I don't have 30 years to save pennies in a jar just to not have enough money to do this.
