I generally see this often when its a big spread

For instance, foreign real estate depreciation is generally spread over 40 years, which differs from the faster schedules used in the U.S., and the ability to offset W-2 income may have limitations due to the passive activity loss rules.

What you are proposing is theoretically possible but depends on (1) how good of a deal it is (2) how much assignment fee spread there is, and (3) if the buyer the realtor is bringing is paying retail or also looking for a wholesale price.

Before I go and begin walking around neighborhoods to do everything you have discussed (which I fully intend to do), I am still trying to figure out where I should narrow my search down to.

But decided where you would like to visit during the year would be helpful in narrowing down a location.
