For my personal stuff is it just not worth the risk to wait for half an inch to melt/get icy and just spend the dough to have it done for every snowfall?

No idea what they're made of or how old they are.if it's yellow, it could be gold, if not, it might be cast chrome, which has gold, platinum, and palladiumthere are companies that melt dental scrap and pay out the value of the precious metals minus a feepawn shops with "we buy gold" signs may buy it too, but will likely give you a real low valueyou could try and contact Garfield mining and ask for a patient envelope kit and see if they will help you out

The water is then dripping down the outside wall of my house / kitchen window.I do not see any water in the house yet, but i am concerned that it will find its way inside and cause much more damage.A few things I think I can do are:1. increase insulation in the attic to stop heat escaping to the roof and melting the snow un evenly.2. add heat strips on the gutters to melt the gutter ice (once the ice has melted and I am free to install them)I'm looking for advice on:1.
