Gift Baskets - Make Someone Smile for the Holidays!

Just a creative idea my girlfriend came up with to make people smile from ear to ear, especially for the holidays! A gift basket. This year, we made baskets for our banker and our lawyer for helping us with our transactions.

Here’s how we do it:

Go to the Thrift store and buy a medium

sized basket. The basket needs to have a handle.

Find a liner for the bottom. (We found lining it with new kitchen towels works the best.)

Fill the basket with small items. We’ve used local hand soap, cheeses, chocolate, small bottles of wine. It’s best if the gifts cater to the person’s personality.

After we fill the basket we will grab some ribbon and decorate the handle.

Finally, hand it to the person you want to give it to and watch them melt in place.

Try it with your clients, your inner circle, or whoever. I’ve never seen someone sad about getting a gift basket. Let me know if it worked out for you guys or not. Happy Holidays!
