Some kids were the opposite of their folks, some were identical to their folks.I appreciate the mention by @Steve Vaughan about getting my insight, but when my kids were young I was frankly too busy and too ignorant to pass much wisdom on. 

I would love to be wrong and actually be buying that property, but this looks like fraud, clean and simple. 

Big problem is that fraud and unethical behavior can be very profitable short term in syndicating investments.  

Look up the definition of mortgage fraud.

My apartment is identical to non-hotel-apartments in the same building, but was classified as a hotel apartment upon purchase by the owner.

The investor may even loose their cash input and the owner sues for fraud and they get the house back, now their arears paid off.   

Report her to the police for the check fraud.

They are massive frauds and liars.

You either occupy or you don't or you get charged with mortgage fraud.

She has committed fraud on her application, told us multiple lies, and has several things that don't add up between what she's told us and what's on her application.
