When the market does drop, the hedge funds have very, very fast trades that happen before you can pick up the phone, leaving the small investor holding the bag.

You're supposed to only place garbage in the cart, but I see people putting garbage bags and even smaller items out every week that are picked up without incident as far as I know. 

Dust yourself off, keep your chin up, stay positive, and move forward.

I have to go try to clean up all the dust off the walls and floor from the plaster and tuckpointing tomorrow when I get off work so they can lay the floors, say a prayer for me (lol)

The problem is that you don't know what you don't know until you learn something sophisticated and then you realize that the stuff you learned before just wasn't good enough to achieve MASSIVE returns.I think the best kept secret is these more sophisticated calculations such as IRR.The problem is even if I let the secret out of the bag, there will probably be 90% of Investors that will say it's too difficult to understand.
