This whole thread reminds me of the old Woddy Allen joke about his brother, who was disturbed and thought and acted like a chicken. 

Best to not count your chickens before they are hatched.On the other hand you could pull out the equity every few years, count it as a profit, and risk taking a loss when you sell.  

The proverbial question would be the chicken or the egg; Do I first need to have a property under contract to get investors to act; or should I locate investors and then locate a property.

Tenant tried to flush all the weed down the toilets, it clogged my septic tank and drainfield... getting that repaired now..story was all over the local news....not helpful for future renting...LOLAnd 3 years ago tenant burned another house down when using a fry daddy for 10 pounds of chicken...why didnt they just go to KFC???
