I say slap some new tile in there, keep the closet and add shelves for linens, paint, trim, tile around the tub, and call it a day.

So far: new septic, 5 new hot water heaters, all new towels and linens, new soaps/shampoos, lotion etc.

Success isn't about working hard, it's about making clever decisions.

Now over $900K properties, I may break out my linen paper for the "ultra" professional approach :-)I think you can do whatever works for you and your business! 

I think I would make a tub perpendicular to the existing one and lose the linen closet if that is what the little door is. 

I view it as no more than a clever ploy to garner information from its users.

We also took out a linen cabinet that was in the hall butting the shower... gets us a foot of shower back, in what is a SMALL master. 

Alot of guests do believe if the host leave items in the rental it's for the taken.I normally only make a complaint if they take my towels, linens or an actual amenity but that's what deposits (or insurance) is for.

Vacasa is a full turnkey vacation rental company - they take all the photos for you (very high end, and free), have a linen program, do the cleans (charged to renter) with in-house cleaning crews, manage the listings, manage keys or door codes, push the listing to all the other vacation sites (airbnb, vrbo, homeaway, etc.), take all the revenues, pay the local taxes, and then cut you your profits once a month.
