I don't know if there is a unified theory as to why Detroit ended up where it is now, but I would say it's a combination of (1) over-reliance on a single industry; (2) some epic battles between that single industry and the union; (3) emergence of the automobile industries in countries like Japan; and (4) terrible race relations.  

After financing, it will become a cash cow of epic proportions.This deal came to us because a large private equity shop backed out of the contract so we stepped in.

You would get a lot of healthcare, Epic, university, and finance workers. 

I have gone to more of her meetups, including field trips, in last 2 years than any other meetup group.Because of the content (private lending masters) there are attendees with significant success (I.e. have disposable money to invest for the right opportunity).We (Janice and I) have done quite a few hikes together: lost coast, Havasupai (highly recommend for any hiker/photographer), multiple sections of PCT, San Gorgonio day hike, started JMT together (finished with her son and 3 other boys, epic trip), too many local hikes to list. 

There is a reason why people commonly jumped out of windows when market took big dips, the stress factor is epic. 

While this could have been corrected with an EPIC Home Depot run on Sunday, my BEAUTIFUL wife and I have a LIFE to live, and we just dealt with it Monday :)Too bad that wasn't the ONLY framing problem we had to deal with this week!

I also just the first house I bought to inspect it yesterday, and it had me laughing b/c I found 17 cases of toilet paper in different places in the home (bathroom, garage, storage, laundry room)...it's  like they were planning an epic TP'ing of another house....I wish, it ended up just showing a lapse of communication between the house members and the HPM (household-led property manager).
