Other  programs like Section 8 are more involved and you would not need to participate in that program for your rentals unless you want to, it requires quite a bit of monitoring.

I am always just skeptical when someone who has obvious financial interests in whipping up fear and uncertainty spends such a great amount of bandwidth coming into a forum whipping up fear and uncertainty.Maybe some people actually need to shell out a bunch of dough to "experts" to put a "compliance monitoring program" in place or to have them review the legalese of their websites, and maybe it makes them feel better knowing that even if nobody has ever been prosecuted for the things they are paying money to address, it is still a good investment.

Another option i would love to figure out how to export correctly is Google Maps Timeline, its extremely accurate.. i was comparing the data to my week of trying out MileIQ and it said i drove 22.6miles less in MileIQ for the week letting it log all my trips automatic compared to google timeline and google timeline is already running in the background if you have google maps activated with your gps setting turned on.. so it would be one less app to worry about draining battery on my phone.. gonna have to look into this more and see how hard it is to export the timeline to an actual spreadsheet...
