I have owned & managed rental property for the last 11 years and also help others buy/sell real estate! I am a cashflow investor, who is fairly conservative, I only like to buy apartments that I plan to hold, in improving neighborhoods where I do the Property Management, in the Sioux Falls area. I enjoy adding value! Experience: In 2012 my wife and I purchased our first home which was a duplex. After house hacking that for a couple years we purchased a 4-plex that we fixed up and increased the financial performance on. Those 6 units got me hooked and I needed to get into the business full time. I became a property manager with Real Property Management where I got to have eyes on the market and be in it everyday. I loved it! I sold my 6 units and rolled them into a 16-plex. I partnered with someone on a 7 plex that we later sold. I did a cash out refinance on my 16-plex in order to purchase a 14-plex. Later I picked up a 4-plex to use as a college fund for my son. Most recently I sold my personal residence that had a lot of equity in it and put it all in an 8-Plex. I enjoy improving and managing the 42 rental units. As a board member of the South Dakota Real Estate Investors Association I am actively involved in our local community of investors. My goal is to meet with everyone in Sioux Falls that owns rental property as well as those that want to own some. I regularly get to meet and become friends with other investors and help people get started investing. I would love to help you buy your first rental property, or your tenth.
