You can also check with cell phone carriers to see if they think your buildings might be a good area to put up a cell tower and rent the space from you (though I believe that space is mostly for high rises?)

If your insurance carrier finds out you are doing this, they will drop you very quickly.If one of your employees gets hurt on the job, the courts do not care if you have insurance or not.

They are kind of a hybrid in the market in that yes they are a captive company, but after Farmers looks at the policy, if they cant do it for whatever reason, then the agent is free to broker it to whatever carrier they want.

I agree with @Greg Carrier, the PM sounds not helpful.About the rent, I can help you with that, if you provide more information I will send you comps in that area, you should check other properties in that area, for example if you have carpet and they have laminate, you should lower your rent.
