Any deposit escrow I know does come back in that scenario.I stayed away this time, but next time will be more prepared as well.By the way, I know of at least 2 of those homes are back on the market as REO'sThe auction does not publish what the sold prices were, but I will continue to monitor those to see what they finally did sell for.

Not that I'm aware of and most likely if it existed they will charge a fee :) The closest I can think of is monitoring payments on Mint.

I'll definitely be monitoring prices moving forward but I think we are hoping that prices may go down and mortgage rates won't jump up between now and when our lease ends.

By the way they'll probably monitor your email too so you can't say or type the wrong thing to clients, like talking about returns or interest rates, or whatever your prohibited from talking about with clients.How about partnering with a family member or friend?

The point of the post was not to justify the host , who in this case had warning , but rather bring the seriousness of the matter to anyone currently hosting or looking into a property - calculeting on hosting income .That said, the article clearly states the agency had monitored the hosts activity weeks, used fake reservations etc ..

At minimum, monitor every six months with a good 15-20 minute inspection in the attic.
