Hi all, Last year was the first time I started flipping houses.. on one of my houses I took a pretty hefty loss after selling it and was curious what avenue I take (what form/schedule...) that I utilize to file for claim that on my taxes is there is a tax break for such a thing.Thanks

Hi,I formed my LLC in February 2018 and will be filing taxes for the first time in January.

well I think most land contracts are universal through out the US.. its a two stage process.One default of the land contract.. then an eviction as the owner of the land contract is now a tenant at sufferance.Now I could be wrong but that would be my guess.. get the land contract foreclosed  then file for eviction.

Should we let him go ahead with giving the notice and proceed with the eviction (and then inherit the eviction), or should we wait until we close and file a fresh eviction?

I have an accountant that does my books and files all returns (business and personal). 

For my rentals I chose an LLC with the default filing status and did not choose to file as an S or C Corp.

If it’s something that is necessary, take care of it, but anything else, just note it in their file for the first thirty days.
