There are tree farms here where they harvest pulp for paper, and they re-plant, but the typical here is re-planted by God.

I am now thinking 2x per cold season is actually the correct amount, based on my assumption that a person in the Denver-Metro area is likely only needing their furnace from Nov - May (unless they are super-wimpy like I now am, with tropical blood). 

Even if you don't plant, it will immediately spark the creativity of the buyers saying, "Think what we could do with those flower beds."  

Coverage for less than full replacement value, this will bring down your premium but in case of a complete loss you won't have enough money to rebuild, you'll just have to plant some nice flowers.  

Fleetwood (CAVCO) has a plant in Northern California but you would have to buy the home through a dealer. 

I usually end up filling them with dirt & planting over them.
