Update: A friend of mine who makes furniture for stores like Restoration Hardware and Urban Outfitters just delivered a table to a house in Elysian Park.

They will start placing their furniture, then they talk themselves into buying.Now imagine how much harder it is to sell a vacant lot.

Their furniture and appliances are designed to be tiny compared to western sizes. 

Front living area: We initially thought this front room was going to be uncomfortably small, but getting furniture to scale actually made the space feel larger and more functional.Dining and kitchen areas, also a half bath to the right of the dining space:Heading upstairs, we have two bedrooms (one with Troy's custom balcony), a laundry room, and a bathroom with double vanity.Tub photo makes it look extremely short, it's a standard length and soaking depth.Now heading up to the third floor master suite and walk-out roof deck:Closets closets everywhere.

I'd agree with him on wear and tear generally but mostly on the furniture. 

This proved to be a good thing as I started freeing up more time for my primary businesses at the time, an online high end furniture store and real estate.I realized that I condensed 5 years worth of failures into 5 crazy months.
