Asset protection only really matters when you have enough assets that you start attracting people who may want to scam you.

It sounds and feels like a scam.  

Scam artists and ambulance chasers love those! 

I think that because this is an agent that works with my management company, he would have a vested interest in sending me good deals, but I want to make sure I'm not buying a lipsticked pig, or otherwise being scammed.

Most of the people pulling this scam don't think ahead to give the address to the friend.2.

There is a course on Note Flipping and it sounds too good to be true.I am a newbie and wondering if this is real or a scam.

The PMs have a book on ways to screw over an absentee owner, fluff, vacancy scams, maintenance kick-backs, etc. so unless the PM is willing to be held to a max fee and work for nothing above and beyond that fee, I won't be signing a Management Agreement in another state.

I agree It’s most likely a scam.  

Hey @Dylan Bennett, definitely get it out there on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist.... yes, unfortunately there are scams out there.... but it shouldn't be a problem if you have a tight market.
