I'm a business architect.

I know an architect out of Ferndale, WA who has some familiarity with what you're referring to.  

It is not unheard of for an Architect/Engineer to have to make existing conditions drawings done prior to design occurring.

I have deep knowledge of the local market, buyers needs, contacts within towns, rules, regulations, architects, and builders, contractors, suppliers. 

The building inspector wanted an architect to draw the layout of the apartment, showing window sizes and exits and then I would apply for the CO and pay the applicable fees.  

He is an architect, and I have a construction background, so I personally learn tons from him and his comments are always so relevant and interesting.I will click on forum discussions if I see his name, because I always can trust that he offers value in his posts (even if the topic is not exactly pertinent to me).

If you are in house flipping for example, this is who you should have in your circle:-Real estate agent-Wholesaler-General contractor-Sub contractors (electrician, plumber, framer, painter, roofer, etc)-Handyman-Designer-Architect-Engineers (electrical, structural, mechanical, civil)-Stager-Title company-Real estate attorney-CPA

Do what @Mike McCarthy has suggested about having a pro pull the permit.I have been in the position of being shut down, had a code inspection called, required to hire an architect.

I work in Manhattan as an architect and work amongst developers/real estate pros and “the money” daily.

Why not just have the architect survey the entire job instead of paying a 3rd Party Software company to do it?
