If i were you, I would hire a few tall-and-strong-built-evil-looking-tattoo-covered bodyguards and go there to 'warn' them to leave.

My google-fu does not seem to be working today...Where can I purchase a double pane glass assembly (or whatever the technical term is)?  

Look for knob and tube wiring, drum traps, glass fuses etc old oil heating system.It will definitely have lead paint so you'll have to be conscious of who you rent to.

And when you looked out the window to the West, did you see the tiny little glass and concrete expanse that was the city of Boston itself, sandwiched between a sea of blue, and a sea of green?

Put in granite, glass tiles.

The grass is no greener on the other side of the fence, it is just a different shade of green and you need to climb one heck of a big fence in order to get there, and then once you are far away from home invite the wolves hiding in the tall grass on the other side to come out and show you what shade it is.
