As I said in my previous post from a month ago (above) the online Iowa auctions is not a game for small players as your odds are very low.

I am in a couple of towns they invest in but I'm lucky in that most of the big players don't come down to my main farm areas.

Too many sharks, con artists, and mediocre players in this market to not make research and trust the priority before even thinking about breaking ground.

If your likely price point is less than 1MM than banks are going to be the best players, but they can also have high barriers to entry with regards to liquidity/net worth and who they'll lend to.
