Look back and listen to some that have been published in the past months.

You should have a published rent criteria that the potential tenants can view to determine if they meet your standards.

My advice would be to read First to a Million (and the workbook), published by none other than Bigger Pockets.

@Michele Velazquez we are in a similar situation (ie picking a city to start investing in multi family) and rather than looking at a bunch of lists published by others, we turned to the data first.

Run through some of the features you will need like setting up a property, moving in a tenant, receiving rent payments, and publishing online applications.Pay attention to which platform feels the best to you as you perform these functions.

Cast a wide net by publishing on many websites (I post to around 50).

Definitely check out the tools (rental property calculator is one of my faves) and set yourself up with some keyword notifications to be notified when new topics/posts are published.
