If you do it anyway and get caught, you could face hefty fines or eviction, or at the very least, they will begin to monitor you in the future and make it difficult for you to continue with AirBnB.

Bigger Pockets has some great state forums and usually there are good locals that monitor those.

Outside of fetching some beer from the garage fridge, nobody uses it (we have a camera in there to monitor trash pick up and we never get notifications of anyone in the garage) 

Zoning Variance is going to cost me $1,100 and that is more or less a given provided I comply with the following requirements.1: Handicapped Bathrooms.2: Letter from the sprinkler system's installer stating it is designed for a truck and heavy equipment repair facility.3: Sprinkler system monitoring service. 4: Floor drain with grease/oil-water separation capabilities.

I think I will just be scratching this house off my list and monitoring my credit card carefully for fraudulent activity.
